Day 1   Mumbai

Day 1 Mumbai

Welcome to India. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel by bus. Your hotel is situated in south of Mumbai, which is close to the Mumbai’s coastline. You will experience the traditional Indian welcome, whilst you complete the check-in procedures. We realise that our guest will be tired and jet lagged by a long journey, so the first day is for you to relax and get acclimatised to the surrounding. A short tour is given around Mumbai in the evening. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 2 Mumbai

After a leisurely breakfast and a short orientation, we shall commence our day with a full day tour of Mumbai. Mumbai, formerly called Bombay, is a sprawling, densely populated city on India’s west coast. On the Mumbai Harbour waterfront stands the iconic Gateway of India stone arch, built by the British Raj in 1924. Mumbai is the most densely populated city in the world with over 21 million inhabitants. It is also home to the largest film Industry called Bollywood. We will be visiting Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi spent most of his time, Victoria Terminus, The Gateway of India, Hanging Gardens and Dhobi Ghat, which is an outdoor laundry. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 3 Mumbai - Udaipur

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Mumbai domestic airport for your flight to Udaipur. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel from the domestic airport. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. The hotel is spread across vast land offering great view of the lake city.

After a lavish traditional Indian Breakfast commence your day tour of the lake city. Udaipur is a very popular tourist destination. Apart from its history, culture, and scenic locations, it is also known for its Rajput-era palaces. The Lake Palace, for instance, covers an entire island in the Pichola Lake. Many of the palaces have been converted into luxury hotels. It is often called the "Venice of the East”. We shall be travelling in the by lanes of Udaipur where you will get familiarised to the city. After lunch we will continue with our sightseeing by visiting the grand city palace, Jagdish temple and we shall also go on a boat ride to witness the beautiful sunset from lake Pichola.

Day 5 Udaipur

After breakfast we start our city tour riding on an Indian auto rickshaw. The rickshaw, which is a three-wheeled automobile, is a popular mode of transport in India and an equally exciting way to experience and explore the cities by-lanes. You will be taken around the local spice market where you can also find Rajasthani artwork at display.

Day 6   Udaipur - Jaipur

After breakfast we travel to the pink city of Jaipur. We arrive at Jaipur during lunchtime. We will be transferred to our luxurious heritage style hotel property. You will be taken for a short city tour.

Day 7      Jaipur

Welcome to the pink city of Jaipur. After breakfast we start our sightseeing with a visit to Amber Fort. Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Continue sight- seeing. If weather permits you can enjoy the ride to the fort in an elephant back. We will also visit the city palace A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. After lunch we continue our sight seeing tour of the pink city, we will visit The Hawa Mahal or ‘’The Palace of the winds’’. The main architect of this palace built of red and pink sandstone, is Lal Chand Ustad and the palace is believed to have been constructed in the form of the crown of Krishna, the Hindu god.

Day 8   Jaipur

Today after breakfast we shall take you to the famous Jaipur market. Jaipur has become a very popular destination lately especially after the movie “ The Exotic Marigold Hotel” and “ The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” was filmed here and other areas of Rajasthan. The market is situated in the old city and it offers local Rajasthaniartwork, garments, precious stones, etc. The market is popular amongst foreign tourists and showcases Indian handicraft from all over the country.

Day 9   Jaipur - Agra

After an early morning breakfast we depart for Agra .We arrive in Agra just in time for lunch After lunch we depart for Agra fort. The Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled city. We also go to see the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna river. Later we proceed to see the world famous inlay work on marble by the local artisans. Return to hotel for dinner. Overnight in Agra.

Day 10    Agra – New Delhi

One view of the Taj isn’t enough. Early morning after breakfast we proceed to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Taj Mahal. It is the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. After the visit to the Taj we see the nearby local market showcasing Indian handicrafts where you can do shopping and practice your haggling skills, which you might have picked up by now. We proceed to our onward journey towards New Delhi.

After a leisurely breakfast, we shall commence our day with a tour of New Delhi. It is the capital city of the largest democratic country in the world with a population of 25 million. Delhi is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a muddle of narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and formidable mosques. In divergence, the imperial city of New Delhi created by the British Raj is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. We shall be visiting sights such in Old Delhi, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar (Tallest stone tower in India), Rajghat (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial), Lotus Temple, India Gate and Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple). We shall also be passing through the Parliament Building of India. It is the centre of power in India. Overnight in New Delhi.

Day 12  New Delhi - Goa

Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the International Airport from where you will make your onward journey to the state of Goa. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Evening at leisure.

After a leisurely breakfast you will commence your half day tour of Goa. You will visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Basilica of Bom Jesus, the tomb of Saint Francisco Xavier and walk around the Latin corners of the Panjim city. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 14 Goa – Mumbai

Today after breakfast morning is at leisure. There is ample to see around your hotel. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival you will be taken to your hotel where you could freshen up and relax. After dinner is served you will be taken to the International airport for your onward journey with a bunch of enthralling and mesmerizing memories of your tour.

Unfortunately pollution is a global phenomenon. It is advisable to carry dust masks if you are sensitive to dust or may have conditions like asthma, etc.

They’re an incredibly effective way of stopping diarrhoea and preventing dysentery (Delhi Belly). It quickly absorbs the toxins or pathogens that are causing the problem and keeps you strong.

Passport Pouch
