PUERTO NATALES :This waterside city is the gateway to the spectacular Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. An outdoor adventurer’s paradise, the park offers a spellbinding landscape of towering peaks, vast glaciers and ice-fed lakes. The majority of people come here for the fantastic hiking opportunities, while horse riding, lake cruises and mountain biking are also popular.
VALPARAISO : This colourful port city sits on a series of hills overlooking a bay. It has long been a favourite with artists and writers, giving it somewhat of a bohemian ambience. You can spend hours exploring the chaotic network of steep streets that are lined with historic crumbling mansions.
SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA :The Atacama Desert is claimed to be the driest in the world, with parts having never recorded any rainfall. Highlights of the region include the geyser field El Tatio, and Moon valley which we recommend visiting at sunset. The Atacama Salt Flat, which is one of the largest of its kind in the world, is also well worth a visit. Part of the salt flat makes up Los Flamencos National Reserve where you may spot three different species of flamingo.
